Birmingham Lacrosse Club (BLC) was formed in the 1930’s, and has gone from strength to strength to the present day.

In the 1950’s and 1960’s BLC played fixtures against Clubs and Physical Education Colleges with a speciality for lacrosse. These Clubs included Anstey P.E. College, Bedford P.E. College, Tamworth & Nuneaton Clubs, Studley College, Worcester Club, Malvern Club and Nottingham Club.

The season culminates in the English Lacrosse Association Clubs and Colleges Tournament in March. BLC won the First Team Trophy in 2001, and the Second Team Trophy (jointly with Nottingham Club) in 2006.

The men's team are a member of the North of England Men's Premier League and play teams such as Leeds, Stockport, Oldham.

The Club welcomes players of all ages and abilities for training, matches and social events. The Club hosts training weekends for the Midlands Territorial Teams which Club members have the opportunity to trial for, who then feed into the National Teams.
